Probely, a Portuguese cybersecurity startup, is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. 

 

At its core, Probely is a service that finds vulnerabilities in Web Applications and APIs and provides guidance on fixing them in a developer-friendly approach. It has an intuitive web interface, and it follows an API-first development approach, providing all features through an API. This allows Probely to be integrated into Continuous Integration pipelines to automate security testing and integrate with virtually anything!

Probely is a remote-first company. This position is for our US team, and the candidate should be based in the US.

 

The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in technology and be comfortable in a customer-facing position. Your focus will be on setting meetings for our Enterprise Account Managers. This will involve outbound cold calls, outbound email conversations, and company research. You must be comfortable making cold calls. 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities from multiple sources to include outbound leads, prospecting lists, marketing email, and your research.
  • Work to uncover opportunities by engaging with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Set appointments for the Enterprise Sales Team.
  • Be comfortable asking qualifying questions and building rapport with potential clients.
  • Constantly work to identify target customers and specific personas that are relevant.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous BDR experience required.
  • Application Security experience is a huge plus.
  • Previous SaaS software BDR experience 
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. The strong belief in exceptional customer service.
  • Highly organized with CRM experience.
  • Have a personable presence and strive to achieve long-term relationships with customers.
